RTK Guidance & Height Control

From a young age, I was fascinated by how things work, which sparked a curiosity for home automation, programming, and microcontrollers. After completing several automation projects, I set my sights on building an autonomous zero-turn lawn mower, guided by satellite and enhanced with RTK corrections for sub-centimeter accuracy. During my research, I discovered AGOpenGPS. As a small farmer with older equipment, I quickly saw its potential and began by adding steering automation to some of my machines. Next came section control for an older Concord air seeder, using wireless communication with AGOpenGPS, followed by section and rate control on a pull-type sprayer that had none when purchased. I realized that building a guidance system can be daunting without a clear understanding of the terminology and process, so I decided to share my knowledge. This led me to begin building and installing AGOpenGPS systems for others.
